SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER


DESCRIPTION

AireSpring is a privately held, diversified, debt free and full service communications company which offers a broad range of innovative services at competitive prices.

The Account Management Group is primarily focused on existing Airespring accounts. This group focuses on account retention and incremental growth opportunities with existing accounts. 

This position will be responsible for selling additional Airespring products and services which include but are not limited to: Business class Voice, Data, and integrated products, T-1, DS-3, Local, Long Distance, SIP Trunking, MPLS and Integrated Voice and Data products.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall responsibility for the management of a group of assigned accounts, focusing on retention and profitable growth of existing revenue streams as well as conducting strategic planning activities to ensure customers' product and service needs are anticipated
  • Maintain on-going communications with entire account base
  • Identify and manage customer requests for service to maintain above average quota and revenue goal attainment
  • Provide professional and technical advice on business applications to ensure account satisfaction by fulfilling customer needs
  • Respond to Request for Proposals
  • Manage relationships with all points of contact within a client's organization to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Represent AireSpring's entire product portfolio with special focus on next generation data products
  • Maintain a solid understanding of all the major product groups and applications associated with these product groups
  • Use computer applications to create proposals and/or presentations
  • Input current account information as well as prospecting account status into customer relations management program
  • Ongoing account retention and growth efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong composition, communication and presentation skills are required to write proposals, routine letters, and present proposals and maintain influential relationships at all levels within the customer's organization
  • Thorough knowledge of telecommunication products and services is required as well as strong problem solving and customer service skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years of directly related to the job experience (outside, direct sales/sales support); or 6+ years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required
