The Senior VP of Technology is responsible for all aspects of AireSpring’s technology development. This is a senior technology position that is integral to the company’s strategic direction and growth. This position will oversee every aspect of AireSpring’s Network Engineering, Network Operations and Project Management areas. 

The Successful Candidate must have hands-on experience in both technical and management skill sets including network architecture, design and deployment. Extensive experience in a Service Provider such as a CLEC, ILEC or Network Services Provider is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Predict and qualify emerging technologies to secure AireSpring’s prevalence in the telecom industry
• Spearhead the building of new products and services which reflect Airespring’s commitment to providing cutting edge products and services to its customers
• Oversee and ensure the fulfillment of strategy for all technology platforms and external partnerships
• Be the recognizable leader within AireSpring’s technical team
• Constitute and regulate AireSpring’s technical benchmarks and ensure they are followed 
• Profit & Loss Responsibility will include customer interaction and sales opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

• Well versed in Service Provider technologies (including MPLS, VoIP, Network Security, etc.), Network Engineering and Design.
• Proven experience in defining and executing Strategic Planning
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills
• At least 10 years in engineering, with 5 in an executive-level position. 
• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required
